Milan / Hybrid with frequent travels.

About the role

We’re looking for a Junior Key Account Manager with a strong farming mindset and a techno-commercial profile. The KAM will be responsible for consolidating and developing the Italian client portfolio for EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) services. He will focus on diligent follow-up and conversion of existing opportunities, account care, and cross-team coordination (farming) rather than prospecting for new leads (hunting). Primary market focus: utility‑scale PV; secondary: C&I and energy storage (BESS).

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and manage solar commercial offers mainly in the utility scale sector and in addition to the DG / C&I segment and storage.
  • Own day‑to‑day follow‑up on qualified opportunities: set next steps, track actions, remove blockers, and drive deals to close.
  • Translate technical requirements into commercial proposals (scope, performance, warranties, SLAs), coordinating with Engineering / Procurement.
  • Prepare and coordinate RFIs / RFQs / RFPs, proposals, and contract documentation with Legal / Finance / Engineering / Construction to prepare competitive technical‑commercial proposals.
  • Keep CRM accurate and up to date; deliver weekly pipeline reports and forecasts.
  • Capture meeting minutes and action owners; monitor account health / risk and escape with mitigation plans.
  • Gather customer feedback to inform product, pricing, and service improvements.
  • Represent the company at trade fairs, industry events and institutional meetings.
Requirements
  • Engineering degree (mandatory).
  • 2-3 years of experience in the renewable energy sector.
  • Experience in account management and commercial offer preparation.
  • Networking with investors, IPPs and utilities will be a plus.
  • Clear farming profile: rigorous follow‑up, pipeline discipline, reliability, and customer care.
  • Techno‑commercial skills: solid grasp of PV / BESS fundamentals (modules, inverters, BoS), basic electrical concepts, performance metrics (yield, PR), and LCOE / CapEx / OpEx drivers. Ability to read technical specs / datasheets and turn them into commercial value propositions.
  • Knowledge of Italian (GSE and MASE) regulations, and PPA frameworks.
  • Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Results‑oriented.
  • Fluent English (C1) is mandatory; Spanish is a plus.
  • Availability for frequent national travel.
