As an Account Executive, your main tasks will include supporting new and existing accommodation partners by contacting, informing, and advising them on how to meet visitor demands on the Booking.com website. You will also be responsible for building accommodation webpages and training new partners on using Booking.com's extranet and systems to enhance their availability and supply.
Responsibilities:
- Proactively communicate with partners via telephone, internal messaging, and occasionally in person to develop the business.
- Build positive relationships to ensure optimal availability and rate structures.
- Discuss opportunities to improve business using Booking.com’s internal tools.
- Serve as the first point of contact for key local partners, addressing questions and taking necessary actions.
- Participate in weekly team learning sessions.
- Advise partners on webpage management, including data amendments related to supply, availability, and promotions.
- Act as a liaison for properties with questions when Account Managers are unavailable.
- Support properties in building and maintaining their webpages and property information.
- Verify the accuracy of property information and images on the website.
- Deliver training over the phone to new and existing properties on using the extranet and rates & availability systems.
- Follow up with properties, providing information and advice primarily via phone.
- Collaborate with Account Managers to support new and existing accommodations.
- Conduct regular rate and availability checks across platforms.
- Assist in market visits, operational planning, and projects.
- Support additional tasks and projects as needed.
- Remain versatile, adaptable, and responsive to updates from Booking.com BV.
Required Skills:
- Excellent face-to-face and telephone communication skills.
- Proficient in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
- Experience or affinity with e-travel and/or hotel/travel industry is advantageous.
- Proactive, responsible, and capable of working independently.
- Effective communicator who can persuade partners to implement suggestions.
- Quick, resourceful, flexible, accurate, with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Motivated team player with an interest in e-travel and hospitality.
- Business-oriented mindset.
- Hotel School or University background preferred.
