A dynamic educational institution in Catania is seeking an energetic English Teacher / Academic Coordinator. The role involves engaging with students, monitoring their progress, and organizing activities for children's development. Ideal candidates will be flexible, possess strong communication skills, and have a passion for teaching. Competenze

• Teaching experience is a plus, but not required.
• Advanced or Proficiency level in English (C1 or higher).
• Have a Certificate of Carichi Pendenti with no previous record.
• Interest in working with children.
• Planning and organisation skills.

Overview

We are proud to have a wonderful and diverse community all over the world. For our school in Catania we are looking for an energetic and fun English Teacher / Academic Coordinator to join our team!

Boost your CV : add teaching experience to your skill set. We will train you in the use of our teaching method for children from 1 to 18 years old.

As our teacher you’ll learn to :

• Prepare your classes using Kids&Us’ lessons, music, games, stories and arts and crafts.
• Monitor your students’ progress and guide learners towards their goals.
• Develop strong, meaningful relationships with students, their families, and your peers and mentors to support the growth of the children.
• Communicate in an efficient, effective, and professional manner.

As a coordinator you’ll have to :

• Supervise academic processes following Kids&Us policies and method
• Support the director in teaching and administrative activities of the school
• Organize events for babies and kids like storytime, little chef, art&craft, sensorylab

Requirements :

• Teaching experience is a plus, but not required.
• Advanced or Proficiency level in English (C1 or higher)
• Have a Certificate of Carichi Pendenti with no previous record.
• Interest in working with children
• Planning and organisation skills

We Offer :

• Fixed-term until July 2025
• 10 hours per week as a coordinator and 4 hours per week as a teacher
• Young and stimulating work environment.
• Start in May 2025
