Job Purpose

The Senior Software Engineer will work on cross-platform 3D engine. Implement new features and fix defects. Participates in full life cycle development of MAGNET products, deliver source code.

Core Job Responsibilities

• Cross‑platform C++ development of 3D engine for Windows, Android, iOS, Linux.
• Primary development is on Windows, but the application also runs on other platforms (Android, iOS, Linux).
• Analyzing requirements, clarifying tasks, proposing optimal solutions, and estimating workload.
• Works with the project manager and software team to plan and manage delivery schedules.
• Follows and implements software processes.
• Attend team meetings and functions.

Minimum Job Requirements

• University degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Electronics, or a related field.
• Solid professional experience in C++ development of 3D graphics with DirectX11 / OpenGL.
• Experience writing HLSL / GLSL shaders.
• Overall software development experience for at least 5 years.
• Experience in software development process implementation.
• Experience with software development tools (configuration management, design, emulation, debugging, compilers, test etc.).
• A good command (both written and speaking) of ENGLISH language is required for the job.

Additional (Preferred) Requirements

• Knowledge of SQLite and experience with databases (design and queries).
• Experience in cross‑platform application development and GUI frameworks.
• 3D graphics / geometry programming experience.
• Experience with MFC / Visual Studio.
• Knowledge of Java and experience in native iOS / Android APIs and development.
• Experience in development tools, version control, and code quality control.
• Experience in software architecture design and design patterns.
• Experience with GNSS and / or Optical Survey.
• Experience with software development for Android.

Working Conditions

• Office presence: 1 / 2 days per month in Concordia facilities.
• Remote work (Smart Working): Available for the remaining days to support productivity and work‑life balance.
