On behalf of our Client, a well-established International Company, GRS are seeking to recruit an IT Support Officer in Larnaca. If you have the necessary skills and experience, then GRS are looking forward to receiving your CV for this Larnaca based IT Support Officer position.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Administer IT infrastructure environments such as servers, networks, and storage systems
• In-house IT maintenance
• Perform system health monitoring, diagnostic tests, troubleshoot, and fix issues compromising system performance or access to IT services
• Analyze customer needs, identify vulnerabilities, and develop and implement new solutions, upgrade/maintain business objectives, and improve security posture
• Maintain inventory control for all hardware and software
• Analyze current process technologies and vendors to identify areas of improvement and assist with process implementation and automation
• Stay informed about new advancements, features, and competitive solutions in the industry
• Work after hours/off-peak periods to complete Windows/Server and network maintenance
• Aid in documenting IT systems
• End-user support (in person, remotely)

CANDIDATE PROFILE

• University Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Computer Science or related field
• At least 1 year of relevant experience
• Professional certifications will be considered an advantage
• Relevant experience will be considered an advantage
• Experience in implementing computing, testing, and troubleshooting IT solutions
• Understanding of best practices in IT administration & system security
• Experience with technologies based on Active Directory and Azure Active Directory or other Windows-based applications
• Linux knowledge will be considered an advantage
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V) will be considered an advantage
• Azure and Office 365 technology knowledge will be considered an advantage
