Senior Construction Manager

In this role you will :

1. Partner closely with the Project Manager to support overall schedule management.
2. Be a visible safety leader onsite, actively participating in day-to-day health and safety management, as well as safety auditing.
3. Assist with project closeout processes and documentation, ensuring all expectations are met for project approval.
4. Work with key partners to ensure all variations are captured and costs are issued to the client.
5. Ensure resources are appropriate to meet current and future commitments and to maximize opportunities.
6. Lead and attend key meetings to monitor progress, collaborate on solving problems, and communicate impacts to partners.
7. Coordinate with QA, Commissions, and EHS teams to ensure excellent project delivery.
8. Manage and track all project costs, including labour, materials, plant, equipment, variations, and valuations.
9. Oversee sub-contractor activities, including tracking progress against schedule and labour levels.
10. Lead overall construction efforts as part of a client team, focusing on logistics and handover.
11. Monitor daily activities in the field, manage information flow, and report issues related to progress, quality, and safety.

1. Are an experienced construction manager on large-scale projects with increasing leadership responsibilities.
2. Have a degree or comparable experience in Construction Management, Engineering, Quantity Surveying, or a related field.
3. Possess strong knowledge of the full design and construction process.
4. Have a professional certification or are seeking one; we can assist you.
5. Have a proven track record of managing large projects successfully.
6. Can mobilize people and teams to ensure successful project delivery.
7. Are effective at building good working relationships within complex organizational structures across projects, clients, and internal partners.
