- How will you make an impact?
Manages the program management and execution for procurement & New Product Introduction “NPI” imperatives and initiatives. Operates as an internal project manager within the procurement team and across a global network of divisions, groups, functions and categories to ensure successful program delivery. In conjunction with relevant business partners, identifies, designs, and implements novel business solutions for Procurement. Manages project planning, business case development, management and budgeting. Coordinates distributed project teams and identifies key partners. Directs on-time, quality delivery of work products; leads implementation economics, risks and communications.
Scale of Responsibilities :
- Defines the deliverable structure and content; facilitates agreement of proposed solutions from functional, business unit and site leadership, site operations, and other key partners
- Manages multiple projects at a time with well-documented and organized project management skills to problem solve and support enterprise and functional objectives
- Implements effective communication plans and delivers presentations to propose key initiatives, provide critical implementation updates, operational line-of-sight, and demonstrate delivery of value within the organization
- Identifies and monitors key risks and the impact of those risks on the project through scenario planning
- Performs analysis to identify value and develop business cases, including financial and options analysis, identification of required deliverables and results, implementation plans, and resources needed to achieve project goals
- Tracks confidentiality commitments and clearances for the project
- Reports and provides insights on projects, pipeline (with Group / Category visibility), and AOP financial targets, including adoption of standard tools and processes
- Coordinates data inputs across functions to enable reporting visibility and insights
- Uses business partner inputs and knowledge of existing systems to develop standard reporting requirements and drive process improvements
- Applies consistent project management approaches, reports roadblocks and variances, ensures projects are on schedule and objectives are met
- Tracks and monitors project progress, manages schedules, budgets, resources, and timelines
- Facilitates issue resolution and addresses program risks
- Maintains document repositories and manages version control
- Uses PPI business systems to drive continuous improvement

How will you get here?
- Bachelor's and/or Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, Engineering, or Science. MBA desirable.
- Project Management certification is desirable.
- Seven+ years managing complex, global programs, preferably in Procurement
- Experience in Life Sciences, BioTech, or Pharma industry preferred
- Background in Procurement, Supply Chain, Sourcing, Category Management preferred
- Process improvement experience (PPI, Lean, Six Sigma) preferred
