Randstad Italia Spa, Florence branch, is looking for a

Finance Specialist - Project Control

for a major multinational company operating in the Oil & Gas sector.

We offer an initial 12-month temporary contract with the possibility of direct placement in the company.

CCNL Metalworking Industry, level B2-B1, commensurate with the candidate's experience, plus meal vouchers.

Possibility of smart working.

The E&P Project Controller is a key member of the Equipment & Projects Finance team,

partnering closely with Project Management organization. The role requires leveraging data

and analysis to drive decision-making, with a focus on process simplification

and accuracy while ensuring controllership governance.

Our Finance Team provides support and insights for the business through planning, analysis,

and reporting. We utilize extensive data to support decision-making impacting our

global organization and to identify areas for improvement. Our team innovates through

digitization to continually enhance the value we provide.

As GTE Project Controller, you will be responsible for:

  • Partnering with Project Managers to oversee project costs and governance
  • Leading Project Margin Reviews for revenue recognition
  • Assessing risks, exposures, and opportunities related to cost estimates and reserves
  • Performing variance analysis versus budgets and benchmarks to identify productivity opportunities
  • Leading or participating in digitization and process simplification projects (e.g., systems implementation, cross-functional processes, RPA)
  • Performing other duties as assigned.

To be successful in this role, you will:

  • Possess a Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, or equivalent from an accredited university or college
  • Have relevant experience, preferably in the finance team of a multinational company
  • Have experience with financial systems (Oracle, OBEII)
