About The Role
We are seeking an experienced COMPANY Representative to oversee the fabrication, testing, and delivery of Flowline End Termination (FLET) and In-Line Tee (ILT) components for a major offshore energy project. Based in Sardinia, Italy, you will act as the client’s on-site representative ensuring contractor compliance with stringent Health, Safety, Environment (HSE), quality, technical, and contractual requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and ensure contractor compliance with HSE policies, including site safety, risk assessments, and stop-work authority.
- Monitor and validate fabrication quality, including non-destructive testing (NDT), dimensional checks, and cleanliness controls.
- Review and approve testing procedures, documentation, and certification in line with project specifications.
- Manage daily site operations ensuring work is completed safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards.
- Liaise closely with internal project teams and contractors to ensure seamless communication and issue resolution.
- Lead audits and drive closure of non-conformities and corrective actions without impacting delivery timelines.
- Provide regular progress, quality, and safety reports to project leadership.
Project Context
This role supports the fabrication phase of a major subsea development project involving deep and shallow water offshore infrastructure. The project demands excellence in safety, technical quality, and operational efficiency with a focus on minimizing environmental impact.
Candidate Requirements
- Minimum 20 years professional experience with at least 15 years on relevant offshore energy projects.
- Strong expertise in subsea structures fabrication and comprehensive knowledge of testing regimes (factory acceptance, integration, stack-up, and site receival).
- Engineering degree or equivalent professional qualification; QC certifications are an advantage.
- Proven experience in welding qualification programs and quality control procedures.
- Fluent English communication skills; knowledge of Italian or French is a plus.
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
