Job Description

The DPQL deploys the Somfy Quality Strategy adapted to the Business Line Access & Security in development projects. Integrated into project teams, it is responsible for mapping Project/Product Quality by defining the scope of Qualification and quality assurance for parts based on project typology. The scope covers all DPQL missions from feasibility/evaluation phases to series start-up of new products. It acts as a link ensuring smooth transition with quality stakeholders at production sites and supports series actors for modifications or deviations during the production cycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure Quality is integrated within project teams by deploying necessary tools and methods;
• Manage development of components and purchased products, implementing Quality planning (APQP);
• Monitor changes and non-conformities during production;
• Assist buyers in validating supplier/part feasibility in terms of QCDT during evaluation phases;
• Identify supplier requirements and support/development needs;
• Learn specifications, translate them into risks;
• Initiate qualification plans during pre-study and study phases;
• Evaluate Quality risks and project impact, assess regulatory requirements, initiate FMEAs, define after-sales policy, participate in supplier selection;
• Ensure monitoring and progress of qualification and validation plans during realization phase;
• Declare product qualification, analyze process maturity, verify CE declaration, validate PPAPs, and carry out GFIS and ISAR assessments;
• Close FMEA during launch phase, monitor defects, track corrective actions, prepare transfer reviews, and perform supplier capacity audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in mechanical or electronic engineering with confirmed experience in Quality project management;
• Knowledge of regulations (IEC/EN 60335, CEM, ISO 9001);
• Knowledge of project development processes;
• Proficiency with statistical tools;
• Risk management skills (soft skills preferred);
• Fluency in Italian and English is mandatory; French is a plus;
• Soft skills: reactivity, proactivity, persuasion, attention to detail, problem-solving.
