Valmet is looking for a HR Specialist to join our team in Lucca office on a 1-year temporary contract to carry out recruiting & selection and manage training activities.

After a period of handover, the role works independently to complete given tasks.

Your Key Responsibilities :

  1. Manage recruiting & selection activities (recruiting briefing with hiring managers, drafting job postings, scouting, conducting interviews, updating reports, and record keeping)
  2. Establish and maintain relationships with educational institutions such as schools and universities
  3. Promote School Work Alternation projects
  4. Manage internships activation
  5. Cooperate with the team to promote employer branding (talents attraction, participation in job and career fairs, organize and attend company presentations to student groups)
  6. Identify training needs, design, and deliver training programs
  7. Organize and perform funded, non-funded, and internal training courses
  8. Track employee training, keep training archive and reports updated
  9. Support employees for various work needs
  10. Involvement in projects
  11. Identify areas for improvement in current processes and practices, then contribute to the design and development of new solutions
  12. Design and carry out internal surveys to investigate employee experience and engagement, and develop initiatives based on the results
  13. Lead or participate in various HR projects, development initiatives, and roll out of new or revised HR policies/processes
  14. Contribute to the development of relevant HR policies and processes
  15. Support managers on issues related to HR
  16. Interact with external consultants and suppliers to ensure satisfactory service standards

Main Requirements

  • Degree in psychology, communications, or economics followed by an HR master
  • At least 1 year of experience in a similar role
  • Fluent spoken and written Italian and English
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
