Position Announcement: Coordinator for Child Exploitation and Trafficking Area - Ventimiglia

Save the Children is seeking a dedicated professional to serve as the Coordinator for the Child Exploitation and Trafficking Area in Ventimiglia. This role involves a letter of appointment for 7 months to support minors, girls, and young women victims or potential victims of trafficking and exploitation, either alone or with children.

The successful candidate will collaborate with an anti-trafficking partner, the team, and the Area Coordinator to manage interviews, pre-identification of minors and women with children, referrals to anti-trafficking entities, prevention activities, and case management.

Main Activities:

1. Identify and manage cases of girls and families victims or potential victims of trafficking through a multidisciplinary approach.
2. Conduct individual and group interviews with beneficiaries to assess needs and identify indicators of exploitation.
3. Manage cases in collaboration with team members, partners, and the Area Coordinator.
4. Ensure proper referral and transfer of women and minors to suitable structures, in cooperation with teams and partners.
5. Develop operational referral procedures and train teams and partners on indicators and procedures.
6. Maintain good relationships with local institutions, associations, and organizations involved in protecting the rights of minors and women victims of trafficking and exploitation.
7. Prepare periodic reports on activities, both quantitative and qualitative.

Qualifications and Requirements:

The candidate should demonstrate experience in case management, working with vulnerable populations, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Knowledge of trafficking issues and local context in Ventimiglia is essential. Strong communication, organizational skills, and commitment to child protection standards are required.
