Duration of Contract: 12 months fixed-term contract with possible extension and/or transformation.

The Project Construction Manager will support project development related to the demolition/decommissioning of disused industrial assets, such as refineries, petrochemical plants, reinforced concrete structures, tanks, and underground pipelines. The supervision of projects will start from the detailed design phase, entrusted to external suppliers, then move to the tendering phase, and finally to on-site execution, with particular focus on safety and environmental issues.
Main responsibilities:
- Support the unit manager responsible for decommissioning to maintain relationships with internal stakeholders and external parties;
- Supervise coordination activities related to assigned decommissioning sites and projects;
- Assist in preparing monthly reports on project progress;
- Coordinate circular decommissioning projects according to approved plans and phases, managing the site team;
- Execute and complete project activities in accordance with schedule and budget;
- Optimize work program and project budget;
- Monitor project execution progress;
- Support the manager in preparing progress and cost reports;
- Collaborate to review, evaluate, negotiate, and approve contractual variations following company policies and project procedures;
- Supervise and coordinate project activities in accordance with the client's HSEQ standards.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Environmental Engineering;
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience in a similar role;
- Relevant previous experience in operational coordination roles for decommissioning or similar activities;
- Willingness to undertake frequent short- to medium-term national travel (about two days per week);
- Ability to manage administrative, contractual, and HSEQ issues;
- Proficiency with databases for archiving and reporting;
- Good knowledge of Legislative Decree 81/08;
- Experience supervising construction sites under Title IV;
- Ability to independently develop monthly reports and presentations;
- Experience verifying and validating SAL documentation.
Contract details: 12-month fixed-term with potential for renewal and/or transformation.
Working hours: 8 hours/day, Monday to Friday (50% at the client’s office in Milan, subject to software evaluation, and 50% on-site supervision with travel to sites in Manfredonia, Priolo, Venice, and Ravenna).
