I'm looking for a Buyer Specialist - fixed contract, who will be responsible for respecting the project schedule, managing procurement, and all activities related to supply chain management.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
- Implement the QMS in the area of responsibility
- Shared responsibility for respecting the project budget, product cost, and tooling cost
- Define the Supply Chain for new components, sub-assemblies or complete products
- Responsible for the cost of new components, sub-assemblies or complete products purchased, as well as the cost of the necessary tooling
- Responsible for respecting the project schedule (delivery of components) during the various project phases
- Responsible for the preparation of Project Purchasing documentation
- Responsible for the selection of suppliers in a global multi-functional environment (Purchasing, Quality, Procurement, R&D), in line with the Global Strategy
- Ensuring the qualification of new suppliers via the Hill-Rom certification process
- Responsible for early involvement in supplier projects (ESI) to bring technical expertise during product development
- Establish and implement energy performance assessment criteria in contract negotiations for energy-using products, equipment, and services
- Inform suppliers that energy performance is a key evaluation criterion for purchases affecting significant energy uses
