MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Selection of the best technical/economical solutions and products for Piping and Piping Supports.
• Design and integrity of piping systems and supports, in compliance with international standards, company specifications, and engineering best practices.
• Definition and design of piping insulation and painting, adhering to international standards and specifications.
• Ensure effectiveness, efficiency, and safety of piping system installation activities, including painting and insulation on site, supported by stress analysis outcomes.
• Assess piping corrosion risk and implement cathodic protection measures.

KEY ACTIVITIES

• Review and approve piping system design documents, in accordance with Required Documentation Data Sheets.
• Inspect pipe components, fittings, and supports, following Inspection Data Sheets.
• Oversee piping system installation, including tie-ins to existing plant, complying with standards and specifications. Select welding materials and tools per welding specifications. Conduct X-ray inspections as required. Apply corrosion protection and install cathodic protection systems.
• Support activities related to overage, shortage, and discrepancies (OSD) for materials and consumables.
• Assist in reviewing piping non-conformities.

MINIMUM AND MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university.
• At least eight (8) years of work experience after earning the degree.
• Qualified to work in Italy, on-site/field conditions.
• Proven excellence in spoken and written English, including report writing.
• Ability to write specifications and reports in English.
