Production Development Specialist

The opportunity

For our Business Unit High Voltage based in Lodi, we are looking for a Production Development Specialist, who will focus on designing, developing, and implementing new or revised production processes for the efficient and economical mass production of goods.

How you'll make an impact

1. Design arrangement of manufacturing equipment to ensure the most efficient and productive layout;
2. Design the sequence of production operations, specify procedures for the fabrication of applicable tools and equipment, and adapt machinery in response to factory conditions;
3. Conduct tests throughout all stages of production to determine control over applicable variables and troubleshoot/solve production problems;
4. Provide guidance to product design engineering on technical specifications that will best utilize equipment and manufacturing techniques;
5. Ensure that production processes and procedures are in compliance with regulations;
6. Implement, analyze, and develop methods and technology for the next step of smart manufacturing;
7. Work closely with production management to develop and maintain our production lines to a world-class standard;
8. Drive the implementation of smart technology and lead the next step of digitalization and automation of our manufacturing process.

Your background

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Industrial Engineering;
• More than 1 year of experience;
• Proficiency in Italian and English (B2-C1);
• Knowledge of 3D modeling tools is a plus;
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are required.
