An International fast-growing Independent Power Producer is looking for an Electrical Engineer with experience in PV, wind, and BESS. The company specializes in the initiation, development, financing, construction, management, and operation of projects involving the generation of electricity from renewable energy sources (Wind, Solar, Battery Energy Storage). The company has operations in Israel and Europe (Western, Northern, and Eastern Europe) with a diversified portfolio of income-generating projects, projects during construction, and pre-construction that total over 2.0GW, with an additional 20 GW / 30 GWh in different development stages.

Responsibilities

  1. Project Engineering Management of external and internal stakeholders, consultants, and engineering companies.
  2. Assist with defining solar PV design criteria for optimization, cost reduction, and performance improvement.
  3. Perform solar resource assessments and energy production estimates using PVsyst and other tools.
  4. Support the procurement phase technically, including requests for proposal and contract negotiations with equipment suppliers and BoP/EPC Contractors.
  5. Assess new investment opportunities with internal feasibility analyses or external technical advisors.
  6. Collaborate with departments throughout the project cycle—Procurement, Business Development, Project Development, Construction, and Operation.
  7. Assist in improving internal processes.
  8. The role may include exposure to other renewable technologies like Green Hydrogen.

Requirements

  1. Previous PV experience.
  2. Good understanding of PV Design.
  3. Experience with WTG – Advantage.
  4. Experience with BESS – Advantage.
  5. Technical Project Management experience.
  6. Experience in the technical contractual phase for renewable energy plants.
  7. Familiarity with Project Development is preferable.
  8. Experience with high voltage connections and substations – Preferred.
  9. Software skills: PVsyst, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office Suite (Word and Excel). Strong writing and presentation skills.
  10. Other skills: Proactive approach, structured working style, ability to manage and integrate external engineering companies/advisors.
  11. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
  12. Ability to work effectively in fast-paced, collaborative, multi-disciplinary teams, and independently.
  13. Self-motivated with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
