Join FieldCore's Field Engineering Program as a Technical Field Advisor specializing in HD Steam Turbines. This program is based in Italy and offers comprehensive training and hands-on experience in power plant maintenance and operations.

The Gas Power division develops natural gas technologies and services, including maintenance and upgrades of power generation equipment. As a participant in our program, you will develop technical expertise, leadership skills, and gain international field experience, ultimately qualifying for a role as a Technical Field Advisor for Steam Turbines.

Role Overview

Participants will undergo in-person and online training, learning from experienced advisors and gaining practical experience in power plant operations. After graduation, you will manage site activities, perform maintenance, and troubleshoot issues on Steam Turbines, with some Gas Turbines involvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure safety standards are met and maintained on-site.
  • Coordinate and monitor site activities, including maintenance and repairs.
  • Perform hands-on maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of turbines.
  • Prepare technical reports, including job status and customer documentation.
  • Respond to emergency repairs and provide technical instruction to site personnel.
  • Manage aftermarket upgrades at customer sites.

Requirements

  • Willingness to travel extensively overseas and work flexible hours, including holidays and weekends.
  • Ability to spend significant time away from home for training and projects.
  • Fluent in English with strong technical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ownership, work ethic, and excellent communication skills.
  • A formal degree in Engineering (Bachelor’s or Master’s) is preferred but not mandatory; relevant experience is highly valued.
