Category Team Manager

Findus is a multinational company leader in the European Frozen Foods market and is looking for a Category Team Manager.

The Category Team Manager will be responsible for assortment optimization, managing the total category assortment, conducting data-driven shopper analysis, enhancing shopper experience, managing internal stakeholders in marketing and sales, and increasing trade margins through marketing mix strategies.

Activities & Responsibilities

• Develop category strategy and vision
• Plan and optimize assortment
• Monitor category performance against sales, margin, and profitability targets
• Support product launches and promotional campaigns
• Stay updated on competitor activity and market dynamics
• Use data insights to refine strategies
• Ensure supplier performance meets quality, cost, and delivery standards

Qualifications

• Over 8 years of experience post-qualification in Category, Marketing, Customer Trade Marketing, or Sales
• University degree or equivalent FMCG experience
• Dynamic leader with strategic vision and team development skills
• Excellent communication and written skills for engaging stakeholders internally and externally
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and conflicting viewpoints
• Strong report writing and presentation skills
