Senior Accounting Specialist

The resource, within the Accounting Department, will support the team in all activities related to the active and passive accounting cycle.

Main Activities

1. Preparation of financial statements in accordance with Italian GAAP and internal Group requirements (IFRS) on a monthly, quarterly, and year-end basis.
2. Management of the general ledger and fixed assets.
3. Analysis of financial statement items and support for taxation issues.
4. Documentation of controls as part of the internal control system.
5. Collaboration and communication with colleagues across the Group regarding accounting, taxes, controlling issues, treasury, and reporting.
6. Participation in cross-departmental projects in finance and accounting.

Skills

1. 2 or 3 years of experience in preparing quarterly and annual financial statements.
2. Knowledge of Italian GAAP, tax accounting, asset accounting, and IFRS.
3. Good command of English.
4. Excellent knowledge of MS Office.
5. Accuracy, planning, and organizational skills.
6. Good interpersonal and communication skills.
7. Teamwork, proactivity, and problem-solving abilities.

Education

Degree in Economics or a similar field.

Location

Parma (HQ).
