RINA is currently recruiting for a Junior Verification & Validation Engineer to join its office in Roma within the Digital Technology and Cybersecurity Division.
Mission
The Verification & Validation Engineer focuses on ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of products through rigorous testing and verification activities. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and execute test cases to validate system functionality and performance.
Key Accountabilities
- Requirements analysis
- Definition and execution of test procedures based on requirements and design specifications
- Identify, analyze, and document defects and inconsistencies in the system under test
- Preparation of verification and validation documentation (test documents, test reports, analysis reports)
- Participation in meetings and reviews with the customer
Education
Master’s Degree in Computer Engineering or Aerospace Engineering
Qualifications
Excellent knowledge of V&V processesExperience and autonomy in managing software system validation (from writing unit tests to drafting validation procedures)Excellent knowledge of writing unit tests or software integration testsExcellent skills in writing test proceduresKnowledge of the MIL-498 standard (specifically drafting documents such as STP, STD, STR)Good knowledge of at least one programming language among C++, Java, PythonAdditional competencies include :
