Maintenance Mechanic

PM Shift only - Mon - Fri : 1 : 30PM to 9 : 30PM

Starting Salary of 65-85K a year depending on experience.

In this role, you will identify and repair malfunctions, perform maintenance of equipment and facilities to provide maximum asset utilization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :

1. Perform basic machine repairs and preventative maintenance for production and facility equipment
2. Create and complete work orders and enter data into CMMs
3. Dismantle, move, install, and align machinery and plant equipment
4. Repair, adjust, disassemble, replace parts, and reassemble machines, including mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment
5. Troubleshoot and repair machine problems independently
6. Liaise with machine / part suppliers and direct sub-trades
7. Manufacture simple parts from sketches or samples; perform modifications as necessary, including the selection of parts and materials
8. Maintain inventory of repair equipment and supplies
9. Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic troubleshooting, and repair of product machines
10. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
11. Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties
12. Provide emergency / unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and scheduled maintenance repairs during machine downtime
13. Detect fault operations, defective materials, and report any unusual situations to the team leader
14. Perform root cause analysis, troubleshooting, safety assessments, and problem-solving of quality errors
15. Function as the key technical resource for multiple machining centers for CNC operations

QUALIFICATIONS :

1. High school diploma or high school equivalency required
2. Trade license preferred, e.g., ELECTRICIAN TICKET
3. 5-10 years of manufacturing maintenance experience required
4. 10+ years of relevant work experience in a metalworking manufacturing environment preferred

Compensation Range :

Experienced CNC-based maintenance individual : $38+ (case-by-case basis)
