The Product Manager Pharma will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the success of our Pharma and Health business. You will strengthen our core business globally and participate in key growth initiatives. A key aspect of the role is Portfolio Management to reinforce profitability across the product line.
This remote role can be based in one of the European countries where we have a site, e.g., Spain, Italy, or Portugal. Regular business trips for meetings with European teams are expected.
Tasks and requirements :
- Collaborate with sales, manufacturing, and operations to develop product definitions responsive to customer needs and market opportunities.
- Generate insights into market needs and customer goals through direct and indirect customer interactions and market research data analysis.
- Work closely with Business Development to drive overall product strategy, R&D requirements, product innovation, development, and positioning for new and emerging products.
- Formulate product development objectives based on Voice of Customer / Market insights.
- Serve as the commercial owner of the Stage Gate process for all product development phases and understand the commercialization strategy for new products.
- Provide product line expertise regarding competitors’ offerings and market share, producing competitive analysis materials.
- Collaborate with regulatory and other departments to understand upcoming changes and translate them into implications for customers, markets, and kp.
- Manage day-to-day product progress, working with Sales to balance revenue and margin objectives while meeting customer satisfaction goals.
- Develop product specifications in conjunction with other Value Stream members to align customer requirements and operations.
- Coordinate promotional activities with Marketing and Communications, including trade shows, symposia, and technical articles.
- Ensure availability of comprehensive technical documentation, including regulatory and sustainability requirements.
Who we are looking for :
You might have a Bachelor's degree (B.A. or B.S.) in business, marketing, sciences, or engineering, with two to three years of industry experience; an MBA is a plus. We value energetic, forward-thinking, and creative individuals with high ethical standards and a professional image to help grow our business.
More Requirements :
- Experience in Portfolio Management, technical documentation, regulatory compliance, and sustainability certification in the Pharma & Health space.
- Experience managing technical or innovation projects in manufacturing.
- Proficiency in data analysis with Excel, especially Pivot tables.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work within a cross-functional global team.
- Ability to handle sensitive inquiries or complaints effectively.
- Fluent in English; German reading skills are helpful but not required.
