This role involves performing preventive and corrective maintenance activities, both independently and as part of a team, under the supervision of the shift supervisor. The External Center Engineer also monitors the system during production phases to ensure optimal operation.

Requirements

• Technical experience in maintenance and/or installation of automatic systems.
• Good electrical and/or mechanical skills.
• Ability to read and understand electrical and mechanical diagrams.
• Teamwork attitude.
• Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience.
• Availability to work in 3 shifts (morning, afternoon, night).

Responsibilities

• Coordinate continuously with the team.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
• Repair and/or adjust subsystems independently or upon request from the shift supervisor or control room.
• Ensure cleanliness and order in the work area.
• Assist in the reorganization and cleaning of the system after production phases.
• Remove unmounted objects from machines, networks, or scattered across the system.
• Coordinate with the control room and team to remove objects in dangerous positions during production.
• Coordinate and, if necessary, correct Jam Runner activities during production.
• Monitor the system during production and intervene with adjustments or repairs to minimize downtime.
• Assist in restoring alarms and subsystem jams during operation.
• Contribute to production reports and accurate data entry into CMMS (if available).
