GLOBAL ACCOUNT MANAGER

JOB PURPOSE

The prime responsibility of the role is to proactively develop business strategies across the regions which will drive profitable growth while increasing penetration in Sales and Demand Creation performance, resulting in market share gain on a global basis. The ability to communicate effectively to negotiate the company offering to customers, position Future’s value add, and demonstrate the company’s capabilities is essential.

What the roles involve :

  • Develop global strategy and implement site tactics in conjunction with branch personnel in each geographical region to drive revenue and increase gross profit margin.
  • Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and challenges, formulating regional strategies and building relationships with senior management through regular visits.
  • Present Future’s value proposition by providing customers with our Value-Added Solutions and Corporate Initiatives, such as the Business Partner Programme.
  • Work with management to set, implement, and monitor sales and margin budgets globally, aiming to increase market share and outperform industry growth.
  • Drive key supplier initiatives to ensure commitments are met.
  • Provide high-level customer service regarding quotes, product availability, lead times, and delivery queries.
  • Engage the Field Application Engineering team to capitalize on sell opportunities.

Do you have :

  • Proven sales track record within the electronic distribution sector for the past five years, with a degree in a technical or business field.
  • Understanding of technical design processes with demonstrated achievements.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Highly organized, accurate, able to work under pressure, and attentive to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
