About the Role
Join ABB E-Mobility as a Supplier Compliance & Quality Engineer to contribute to sustainable mobility solutions. You will support life cycle assessments, supplier engagement on emissions reduction, and ensure compliance with environmental and quality standards. Reporting to the Global Supplier Quality Manager locally and the HSE & Sustainability Manager globally, you will work within a team dedicated to eco-friendly innovations.
Your Responsibilities
- Coordinate and execute LCA studies by collecting environmental data from suppliers.
- Assist in data collection and analysis for sustainability projects.
- Support third-party verification processes of LCAs and EPDs.
- Engage with suppliers to promote emission reduction and recycled materials.
- Ensure suppliers follow ESG practices and comply with legislation.
- Assess supply chain risks and environmental impacts globally and domestically.
- Conduct sustainability training for stakeholders.
- Manage non-conformities and conduct product/process audits per ISO 9001 standards.
Your Background
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical, Sustainable Energy, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Logistics & Supply Chain, or related fields.
- At least 1 year experience in supply chain management and sustainability projects.
- Knowledge of LCA, Circularity, and relevant standards is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Italian and English; willing to travel within Europe.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with MS Office, SAP, Power BI, and ISO standards.
