We’re hiring an E2E System Engineer, within the Observation system department/E2E System Design and Verification unit, to support the E2E System Engineering activities.

Task description:

  1. Develop scientific algorithms in the fields of SAR remote sensing, image processing, and mission analysis.
  2. Perform Engineering Requirements Analysis and flow-down activities.
  3. Develop mathematical models and budgets for optical payload performance.
  4. Conduct Mission Analysis for Satellite Optical Systems.
  5. Perform calibration activities for operational SAR Systems.
  6. Understand the system physical and functional architecture of satellite systems.
  7. Define and execute End-to-End Verification approaches.
  8. Write technical documents and project reports.

Personal requirements:

The ideal candidate should have a Master’s degree in Engineering, preferably with a Ph.D. Additionally, strong teamwork propensity, analytical and technical skills, problem-solving capabilities, and solid knowledge of statistical methods for analysis of scientific data are required. Open-mindedness to different cultures and a collaborative approach are essential.

Language: Fluent English, spoken and written.
