We are hiring: Cyber Security Analyst

As a leading company within the Fastweb Group specializing in Cyber Security, we are seeking a skilled Security Analyst to join our Security Operation Center. The selected candidate will report directly to the Team Leader and will be part of a professional growth program aimed at developing specific skills necessary for the role.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage company prevention systems: monitor and maintain defenses against cyber attacks.
2. Configure and update security solutions such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, and other security tools.
3. Supervise security practices: continuous monitoring of networks and systems with log analysis to identify threats.
4. Implement protective measures: develop and apply security protocols like data encryption and VPNs.
5. Update security tools: install security patches and software updates regularly.
6. Incident response: manage security incidents promptly to minimize damage and ensure operational continuity.
7. Vulnerability assessment: identify and evaluate system vulnerabilities and propose mitigation solutions.

Requirements:

• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related fields.
• Master's in Information Systems (preferable).
• Understanding of firewalls, SIEM, EDR, IDS, and Threat Intelligence concepts.
• English proficiency at B1/B2 level.
• Optional certifications: CompTIA Security+, CSA, SSCP, CEH.
