About the Role

As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for preventive maintenance, repairing equipment, and installing replacement parts related to NCS vehicle wash equipment and accessories. Your duties will include:

  • Performing service on vehicle wash equipment and accessories, including troubleshooting electrical, electronic, and mechanical problems to determine corrective actions.
  • Completing work orders, expense reports, and daily and weekly time logs.
  • Developing and maintaining a good rapport with customers, striving to provide excellent service and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Replacing, repairing, or adjusting parts and systems as necessary.
  • Inspecting equipment to ensure proper functioning.
  • Maintaining proper inventory of parts on service vehicles and in the warehouse; reporting inventory levels as required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift items weighing up to 75 lbs.
  • Ability to intermittently and repeatedly bend, stoop, kneel, reach, twist, perform repetitive motions using hands, climb ladders, and stand for prolonged periods.

Essential Skills:

  • Associate degree from a two-year college or technical/trade school plus at least one (1) year of industry-related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Clean driving record with no more than three (3) moving violations and no more than two (2) preventable, at-fault accidents within the past 5 years.
  • Knowledgeable in:
    • Industrial Mechanical, Pneumatics, and Hydraulics
    • Electrical systems, including 3-phase power
  • Ability to interpret equipment, operating, and maintenance manuals and instructions.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Intermediate computer skills, including email communication.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
