Remote Technical Co-Founder – RiseNex

RiseNex is an emerging EdTech platform focused on bridging the gap between education and real-world experience through immersive job simulations. Our mission is to empower the next generation of professionals with practical, job-ready skills, starting in Africa and scaling globally.

A passionate and skilled developer to join as a Technical Co-Founder. You should have :

Skills and Qualifications :

Technical Expertise :

• Strong back-end development experience with frameworks like Node.js, Django, or Ruby on Rails.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) for scalable deployment.
• Skilled in database management (SQL, NoSQL).

AI and Machine Learning :

• Experience in creating or training AI models, particularly using ChatGPT APIs.
• Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) techniques.
• Ability to integrate AI into web applications to enhance user experience.

Product Development :

• Proven experience in building and launching web or mobile applications.
• Understanding of UI / UX principles to ensure a user-friendly design.
• Ability to work in an agile development environment.

Leadership and Collaboration :

• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with non-technical team members.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for problem-solving.
• Experience mentoring or leading a development team is a plus.

Education and Experience :

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 5+ years of experience in full-stack development.
• Previous experience in the EdTech industry is a plus, but not required.

Your Role :

As a Technical Co-Founder, you will :

• Lead the development of the RiseNex platform from concept to launch.
• Implement and optimize AI-driven simulations to enhance user experience.
• Collaborate closely with the founding team to shape the product vision and strategy.
• Be responsible for the platform’s architecture, ensuring it’s robust, scalable, and secure.
