We are looking for a Check Out Electrical Technician to join our Operations department and perform software check outs for converting roll machines in accordance with safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct pre-test line preparation: compile checklists, verify software with Technical Office, and check technical and safety requirements necessary for testing.
- Carry out machinery test in compliance with the required technical specifications and scheduling.
- Collaborate with the team on daily technical issues related to processes, machinery, or tools.
- Prepare proper documentation records related to test activities.
- Analyze and solve any problems encountered during the testing phase, interfacing with internal teams.
- Configure and manage electrical and fluidic systems.
- Respect quality standards and established safety procedures.
To Succeed In This Role, You Should Have
- Technical school diploma or Degree in Electronic, Automation, Information Technology or similar fields.
- 2-3 years of experience as Software Technician in manufacturing industry, experience in converting industry is a plus.
- Experience with Controls Engineering/PLC/HMI programming/Safety.
- Experience with Siemens S7, Tia Portal, Rockwell Allen Bradley is highly evaluated.
- Proficiency with MS Office 365, SAP and 2D-3D CAD.
- Ability to configure and manage electrical and fluidic systems.
- Good skills in reading and understanding electrical drawings.
- Structured approach to complete tasks accordingly to targets and schedule.
- Structured and systematic approach to execute given tasks.
- Strong skills in complex troubleshooting.
- Service orientation and good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proactive work approach, respect for quality standards and safety procedures.
- Strong work ethic and availability for occasional work travel.
- Fluent in Italian and proficient in English.
