Job Description

We are looking for a Laboratory Test Engineer to join our team and support a key customer. Responsibilities include:

  • Perform tests and characterizations such as:
    • Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) analysis
    • Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC) analysis
    • Chemical analysis on metals, aluminum, batteries, magnets, fuel cell materials, polymers
    • Microscopy inspection on metals, polymers, battery materials
    • Tensile, Hardness, Charpy, Tribology, Diffractometry tests
    • Battery cell aging tests and teardown

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of experience in automotive materials or related fields such as metals & anticorrosion, polymers & bio-sourced materials, or electronics materials
  • Knowledge of automotive materials and testing methods
  • University Degree in Engineering (preferred) or equivalent experience, with specializations in mechanical, electronics, aeronautical, chemical, or industrial processes
  • English proficiency at B1 level or higher
  • Proficiency in MS Office
  • Flexibility, ability to work under pressure, initiative, teamwork skills, social and intercultural competence
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively and motivate team members
