About the job

The Wallet Development Kit (WDK) Software Engineer will contribute to Tether's open-source toolkit for building self-custodial wallet applications across mobile and desktop platforms. The role involves technical design, implementation, and collaboration to enhance the toolkit's capabilities. Experience with wallet creation or DeFi is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Innovate: Contribute to groundbreaking projects using agile and innovative technologies.
• Scale: Ensure backend responsiveness and real-time performance as the platform grows.
• Secure: Maintain high security standards to protect assets and data.

Experience in building or integrating crypto wallets for DeFi and blockchain applications is required.

Familiarity with modular architecture, complex platform development, and APIs is preferred.

Quick Learner : Ability to rapidly adapt and learn new technologies.

Security Awareness : Strong understanding of security best practices.

• High-Availability Concepts : Experience with system reliability practices.
• Programming Skills : Knowledge of Go, Rust, or C++ is a plus.
