The Business Development is accountable for contributing tooriginating, solutioning, qualifying, negotiating, and closing deals for allAvanade products, capabilities, services, and solutions.
Engage with clients to clarify their needs and translatethem into potential Avanade solution opportunities. Create proposals to supportkey opportunities in client accounts, territories, and sectors. Work closelywith Business Development professionals, partners, and alliances to grow thebook of business. Build and maintain strong long-term relationships withdecision-makers and buyers within client organizations. Together we do what matters.
·Engage with clients to clarify theirneeds and translate them into potential Avanade solution opportunities
·Create proposals to support keyopportunities in client accounts, territories, and sectors
·Engage buyers through relevantchannels such as digital content, social media, campaigns, and email
·Work closely with BusinessDevelopment professionals, partners, and alliances to grow the book of business
·Build and maintain strong long-termrelationships with decision-makers and buyers within client organizations
·Apply and leverage Sales Process(DEEPR), Solution Selling, and Account Management practices when engaging withclients
·Support local marketing programs forbrand development, market awareness, market positioning, and market demandgeneration involving media, analysts, and active participation in the ITcommunity
·5 years of experience within salesarea – plus on Microsoft ecosystem
·Understand client business needs andhow to recommend the best fit technology solutions.
·Industry knowledge in the relevantindustry Manufacturing, Consumer Goods and Retail industry
·Good client interface andpresentation skills
·Demonstrates creative thinking toaddress our customer's business needs
·Working knowledge of accountplanning skills
·Good understanding of sales pipelinemanagement and sales and revenue quotas
·Good understanding of Microsoft productsand technology services – especially D365
·Able to build a network of insideand outside contacts to increase influence
