What the position is about: Role & Agenda

The role

To strengthen our leadership in the area, we have an exciting opportunity for an Area Manager to join our vibrant team based in Sicily (Palermo area).

As an Area Manager, you will be responsible for the growth and commercial consolidation of your assigned area, creating and optimizing commercial opportunities to achieve business targets.

You will act as an entrepreneurial and inspirational leader, focusing on people development and driving your area's business results.

You will ensure the successful execution of company projects and strategies by leveraging people excellence and leading an engaged, qualified team.

Your agenda will include:

  • Revenue and sales management: Carry out strategic analysis, forecasts, set area budgets and sales targets; define shop and individual action plans; conduct store visits to share goals, monitor KPIs, ensure sales growth and performance development.
  • People management: Responsible for shop personnel development and performance. Use store visits to build a capabilities development culture, provide coaching and feedback, foster team spirit, collaboration, and motivation. Collaborate with the Regional Director and HR on recruitment and selection.
  • Resources and workforce planning: Based on territory analysis, ensure optimal coverage in resources and staffing to achieve high performance. Pursue growth opportunities and network development.
  • Medical Area Management: Develop and maintain a network of ENTs and General Practitioners through regular visits, industry conferences, and other activities.

Who you are: Qualifications & Capabilities

  • Bachelor's / Master's Degree
  • Previous experience as an Area Manager (3-5 years) or in Field Operations Management
  • Experience in fast-moving, dynamic industries; retail experience is a plus
  • Willingness for national mobility (international mobility is a plus)
