Job Description:

IQVIA is looking for a Therapy Training Specialist, a role where your expertise supports patients with diabetes who self-administer insulin multiple times daily.

This is a new position within a growing team created to meet the increased demand for a medical device system that simplifies diabetes management for patients, carers, and healthcare professionals.

We seek candidates passionate about healthcare and patient wellbeing; the ideal applicant will have strong communication skills, public speaking ability, empathy, rapport-building skills, and an adaptable approach to training patients.

Working area:

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with hospital accounts in your territory
• Coordinate with the sales team to address patient training needs
• Provide 1:1 training on device setup and use, ensuring positive onboarding
• Offer ongoing support to patients beyond technical assistance
• Participate in follow-up meetings with patients and healthcare professionals
• Promote technical training and awareness among diabetes teams
• Assist in the commercial cycle and prescription process, managing inventory and handovers
• Organize educational activities and provide technical support during scientific events

Required Knowledge and Experience:

• Degree in scientific, economic, or humanities disciplines, or equivalent experience
• PhD is a plus but not required
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel frequently within the area and nationwide
• English knowledge is beneficial but not essential
• Experience with medical devices and therapies is advantageous
• Strong interpersonal, negotiation, problem-solving, communication skills, and familiarity with CRM systems
