Job Description:

We are creating a pool of Critical Raw Materials (CRM) Policy Experts for a new FWC Contract: EC-SG REFORM/2025/OP/0001. Experts will support the design, development, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of structural reforms in EU Member States. Selected experts will be contacted for specific assignments as they arise. If you have relevant experience, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze existing and planned national policies relevant to CRM and identify gaps or enhancements needed for CRM alignment.
• Propose policy measures and reforms to support local CRM production, processing, and recycling.
• Draft recommendations for legislative and administrative framework changes for CRM implementation.
• Advise on EU-level CRM strategy coherence and resilience measures.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in public policy, EU law, geology, mining policy, or related field.
• At least 8 years of experience in raw materials governance, critical mineral strategy, or EU industrial policy.
• Familiarity with CRMA, Green Deal, Circular Economy, and resilience policies.
• Excellent analytical and policy drafting skills.
