Job Duties:
- Design, deploy, and manage enterprise-scale AWS cloud infrastructure ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.
- Work with development teams to architect and implement cloud-native solutions using AWS services like EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, and CloudFormation.
- Create automation scripts and infrastructure-as-code templates to streamline cloud resource management.
- Monitor and optimize AWS resource performance, focusing on cost efficiency and resource utilization.
- Implement and maintain cloud security controls, including IAM, VPC, and data encryption.
- Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues to minimize downtime and ensure performance.
- Stay updated on AWS services, features, and best practices, and recommend their adoption.
- Collaborate on cloud governance policies, compliance, and disaster recovery strategies.
- Assist in designing hybrid cloud solutions integrating on-premises infrastructure with AWS.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
Certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional or equivalent.
Experience:
- At least 4 years of AWS cloud infrastructure design, implementation, and management experience.
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Deep understanding of cloud security, including IAM, VPC, and Security Groups.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or AWS CodePipeline.
- Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like CloudFormation or Terraform.
- Strong networking knowledge including TCP/IP, DNS, and load balancing.
- Experience with monitoring tools like CloudWatch, Elastic Stack, or Prometheus.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional teams.
- Experience in Agile environments is highly desirable.
