Specification Technologist

R&D Technologist

To manage all aspects of specification technical support required by Commercial Team and to drive a business winning and growth culture.

Primary Purpose of Role

• Attending customer and internal team meetings to ensure that projects are delivered in an efficient and effective manner
• To ensure that relationships with Key Customers are enhanced and that our activity ‘vibrates’ towards the achievement of their principal objectives

Detailed Role Description

• First point of contact for assigned customers, supporting the commercial team in the technical area
• First point of contact for new UK customers (industry & retail)
• Write and update specifications for customers in the area of responsibility, following approval process through specific customer software
• Be informed and updated on customer requirements, code of practice, wow and be responsible to circulate guidelines, making sure they are followed in new product development
• Be responsible for Claims generation and validation with the customer
• Be responsible for Quality standards generation and validation
• In cooperation with the packaging team contributes to the AW process, making sure each step is performed OTIF
• Responsible for the definition of label size and content, including variable data
• Participate to 1st production of new items and check that all the products attributes are in line with the specification
• Organize shipment of first production and Production test samples required by customers
• Take care of completing documents required by customers
• Manage activities in AS400
• Qualifications

University Degree

One year of experience

Fluency in English
