RINA is recruiting a Vivier Junior Back-end Software Developer to join its offices in Genoa, Rome, Naples, Milan within the Digital Technology and Cybersecurity Division.

Mission

Seeking a Junior Back-end Software Developer with strong Python skills and a passion for cloud technologies. Support development and maintenance of cloud-based solutions, with opportunities to learn cloud architecture, DevOps, and modern development tools.

Key Accountabilities

Design and Development

• Develop Python applications and services
• Support cloud solution implementation under senior guidance
• Learn to design scalable, secure cloud-native systems

Collaboration and Implementation

• Work with senior developers, architects, and stakeholders to understand requirements
• Translate technical needs into solutions
• Support configuration and deployment of cloud services, preferably Azure
• Assist in monitoring cloud resources for reliability and performance

Security & Best Practices

• Learn cloud security principles and ensure compliance
• Follow development guidelines for safe, maintainable code
• Engage in continuous learning and team activities

Support & Maintenance

• Help troubleshoot and support cloud operations
• Contribute to incident management and automation improvements

Qualifications

• Strong Python foundation
• Basic cloud knowledge (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS); Azure experience a plus
• Familiar with version control (e.g., Git) and CI/CD
• Willing to learn containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)
• Interest in security, networking, and performance
• Good problem-solving and communication skills

Education

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering or related fields
