The Application Specialist will contribute to the successful and timely support and deployment of the TrakCare product by providing application knowledge in the functional areas of product support, requirements scoping, field design documentation, and change request testing. The Application Specialist will act as an expert product resource for our partners.

InterSystems Italia seeks experienced candidates who are creative, motivated, and energetic problem-solvers to join a group of experts working with a broad range of new and advanced technology. You will have the opportunity to work with some of the world’s leading organizations in healthcare.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide immediate response to customer inquiries in accordance with service standards.
  2. Support current installed customer base.
  3. Serve as a link between customers and the InterSystems Global Support organization.
  4. Understand customers' work processes and requirements to be addressed by the TrakCare application.
  5. Provide application support for the TrakCare Hospital Management System.
  6. Support the implementation of TrakCare to meet customer business requirements following InterSystems methodologies.
  7. Escalate unresolved issues per policies and procedures.
  8. Conduct training, product demonstrations, and workshops as needed.
  9. Improve customer satisfaction by gathering and escalating feedback for product and service improvements.
  10. Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for TrakCare.
  11. Enhance response times through improved communication and analytical skills.
  12. Collaborate with partners to identify potential product changes if required.
  13. Participate in on-site implementations and support meetings as needed.
  14. Participate in a 24-hour on-call support roster.

Experience and Qualifications

  1. Problem-solving aptitude and experience in leveraging technology for process improvements.
  2. Experience in implementing product solutions.
  3. Ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  4. Proven problem-solving skills with diverse customer groups.
  5. Experience with Hospital Information, Patient Administration Systems, and Clinical Information Systems is preferred.
  6. Understanding of Health Informatics standards, reporting, and legislative controls.
  7. Ability to design and write specifications based on customer requirements.
  8. Teamwork skills, including working with colleagues or partners in different locations.

Education and Training

BS or MS in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or equivalent is desirable.
