Job Summary

O'Connell's School in Rende, Calabria, is seeking a qualified and dedicated Director of Studies. Our well-established language school has provided courses to individuals and companies for over 30 years. We are an authorized Cambridge English exam centre and a member of AISLi, an Italian association of quality schools.

Qualifications

• Trinity DipTESOL, Cambridge DELTA, MA TESOL, or equivalent qualifications accepted
• Teaching experience: 1 year
• Native-level English speaker preferred
• Proficiency at C2 level across all skills; Cambridge Proficiency certification preferred

Salary and Benefits

• Net salary of 1550 Euros per month plus benefits according to national contract
• Bonuses: approximately 1 month's salary for each full year worked (Tredicesima and end-of-contract bonus)

Job Responsibilities

• Manage a team of professional teachers
• Organize and monitor English courses for various age groups and levels, both face-to-face and online, using sound methodology and innovative technology
• Observe lessons and provide constructive feedback
• Design and deliver professional development opportunities for teachers and participate in EFL conferences in Italy and abroad
