Bid Manager – Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS)

Remote – Based in Germany, France, or Italy

A leading player in the energy storage space is seeking a Bid Manager with strong technical expertise in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) to join its international team.

This is a strategic role focused on developing winning technical proposals for large-scale commercial and utility BESS projects.

Key Requirements :

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy Systems, or similar.
• Proven experience working with BESS – especially in system integration or technical proposal management.
• Strong understanding of battery storage components : PCS, EMS, HVAC, and renewables integration.
• Fluent in English (business level).
• Must be currently residing in Germany, France, or Italy.

Role Highlights :

• Lead the end-to-end technical proposal process from RFP to submission.
• Collaborate with engineering and commercial teams to shape technically sound, competitive bids.
• Write and refine technical documentation, designs, and compliance content.
• Act as a technical point of contact throughout customer evaluations.
• 100% remote within Germany, France, or Italy.
• Work on impactful, international energy storage projects.
