Job Description:

This is an exciting post-graduate or thesis internship opportunity that will allow you to build your expertise and develop your professional skills in an innovative environment.

You will be part of the Operations Department and will collaborate on a project related to the internal testing process of converting lines. The project aims to introduce standard statistical tools for measuring data related to internal testing of machinery.

  • Learn the principles of converting lines, internal testing processes, and production area workflows.
  • Analyze and map the current internal testing protocol, including documentation and reporting.
  • Collaborate with colleagues from Production and Operations, such as testing, technical, standardization, project management, and digital teams.
  • Identify and analyze product quality data and machine performance to define key test indicators.
  • Work with your team to improve the test protocol using standard statistical tools for better monitoring.
  • Draft documentation and reports for internal and customer use.
  • Learn and apply Lean Six Sigma techniques and work management tools (e.g., SAP, Minitab).
  • Experience an innovative manufacturing environment and understand how a multinational company operates.

Qualifications:

  • Recent graduate or master's student in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Automation, Electronics, Management, or similar.
  • Knowledge of mechanics and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • Interest and knowledge in statistics.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Fluency in Italian, both written and spoken.
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills.
  • Critical thinking abilities.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, modern, and international environment.
