Job Description

Barilla Turkey is looking for an experienced Logistics Manager to join our team in Bolu. Reporting to the Supply Chain Director Turkey, this role is pivotal in ensuring the effectiveness, efficiency, and sustainability of our logistics services and warehouse operations across the country.

Key Accountabilities :

As a Logistics Manager, you will :

• Define and control the annual logistics budget for Turkey, including transport, storage, and distribution.
• Lead the procurement of logistics services : manage tenders, negotiate contracts, and oversee vendor performance.
• Ensure compliance with corporate policies, and propose improvements to logistics-related procedures.
• Monitor and optimize all logistics and warehouse processes, both in-house and outsourced, ensuring KPIs are met.
• Lead and support logistics projects aimed at improving performance, cost-efficiency, and sustainability.
• Manage the execution of warehouse operations, proposing projects to enhance safety, service, and efficiency.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality, and environmental compliance within logistics operations.
• Lead and develop a high-performing logistics team, fostering communication, feedback, and professional growth.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Minimum 5 years of experience in logistics management or related roles
• Proven ability to manage complex logistics and warehouse operations
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Solid understanding of logistics contracts, budgeting, and performance monitoring
• Fluent in English; Turkish language proficiency is a strong asset
