As an Account Manager, you will be the main sales contact for the North-West Italy territory, covering all of Quaker Houghton's products, equipment, and services. Your focus will be on nurturing relationships with our existing customer base, mainly in the metalworking market, and driving cross-selling and customer satisfaction initiatives. Our customers’ success is our own.

What will you do?

  • Develop business growth in North and West Italy to meet sales and gross margin targets through regular customer visits
  • Build strong relationships with key contacts to increase satisfaction and cross-selling success
  • Create presentations, proposals, and commercial offers demonstrating Quaker Houghton’s value
  • Provide technical advice in collaboration with our Product Application team
  • Align with the KAM team to maximize business potential and exceed expectations
  • Collaborate with the Fluid Intelligence Solutions team on equipment sales
  • Coordinate with Customer Service and Technical Service teams to meet customer expectations
  • Report on sales targets, budgets, and forecasts using CRM and other IT tools
  • Participate in conferences and trade shows
  • Monitor industry trends, competitors, and regulations for feedback and innovation

What are we looking for?

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years of proven sales experience in the metalworking industry, preferably with lubricants, greases, or coolants. A background in chemical markets is a plus. This role suits a passionate, dedicated technical sales professional seeking career growth.

Education: Mechanical, Metallurgical, Chemical, or relevant engineering degree highly valued.

Languages: Italian and English at a professional level are required.

The candidate should be a dynamic professional with excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of building trust-based relationships with stakeholders.

This is a field-based role in the West and North Italy territory.
