This Position reports to:

R&D Local Unit Lead


Your Role And Responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the strategic technology direction by contributing your own ideas for identifying, proposing, and implementing innovative technology and solutions. Each day, you will assist the Research and Development (R&D) team by executing your assigned tasks and using technical knowledge in a structured way. You will also showcase your expertise by staying abreast of the state of the art and actively applying this knowledge.

The work model for the role is:

In this role, you’ll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for:

  • Conducting analysis and feasibility studies, and performing electromechanical design for low voltage circuit breakers.
  • Validating and testing prototypes, optimizing products, and resolving product lifecycle issues to ensure performance and reliability.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams including Project Team, Testing Laboratory, Engineering, Quality, Production, and the Project Manager.
  • Contributing to R&D projects with creative ideas, following up on project outcomes, and reporting results effectively.


Qualifications For The Role

  • You are engaged in an agile organization and in the circuit breaker market
  • Ability to demonstrate your experience in problem solving, customer focus, R&D activities.
  • Possess an enhanced knowledge of 3D CAD utilization, mechanical skills.
  • You are passionate about autonomy in the management of the activities, team-working skills, curiosity and flexibility
  • A Bachelor or Master Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace or Electrical Engineering is required.
  • You are at ease communicating in Italian and English, both written and speaking.
