QSRP Group (Quick Service Restaurant Platform) , is looking for a motivated Jr Accountant to join the team in Assago (Milan) .

Role Summary :

As a Junior Accountant, you will be part of the Finance team with a focus on Accounts Payable activities. You will support day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments. The role involves collaboration with both local teams and the central Finance department based in Belgium, within a fast-paced and international environment.

We're looking for a profile with Business Administration or Economics degree, fluency in Italian and English, familiar with Microsoft office tools (Excel) and SAP (nice to have).

Mission :

The resource, reporting to the Accounting Manager of QSRP based in Antwerp the Accounting Payable specialist is accountable for verifying proper payment approval, processing payments in a timely manner.

In particular you will carry on the following activities :

• Match supplier invoices to authorizing purchase orders and proofs of receipt
• Obtain payment approvals for non-cost of goods sold invoices
• Enter all supplier invoices into the payables softwareIssue notices to suppliers regarding rejected invoice line items
• Process expense reports
• Process procurement card payments
• Notify managers when budgeted expenditure levels have been exceeded
• Discuss with local management payment proposal.
• Incorporate all applicable supplier credits into payments made
• Research supplier requests for payment
• Update the supplier master file
• Reconcile accounts payable to the general ledger

Main requirements :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration is well appreciated
• Maximum 3 years of experience with accounting principles, book-keeping concept
• Good Knowledge of Excel
• Knowledge of SAP is well appreciated
• Ability to work independently and proactively
• Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail
• Able to embrace new challenges in fast changing environment
• Good communication skills, ability to connect with multiple stakeholders across different departments and countries / cultures
