Datalogic is looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis Controller to join our Planning & Control in the HQ located in Lippo di Calderara di Reno (BO). The position will be a key member of the Planning & Control Team, supporting the analysis of Group performance and contributing to the development of effective financial partnerships with key corporate functions.
Role Mission
Reporting directly to the FP&A & Corporate Functions Manager, the role will assist in preparing management reporting for senior leadership and the Board of Directors, ensuring clarity in the analysis of variances across P&L, Balance Sheet, KPIs, and investment performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial reports and performance analysis in line with internal deadlines.
- Support budgeting and forecasting processes for both operating expenses and investments.
- Assist with the monthly closing process to ensure accurate and timely managerial reporting.
- Conduct ad hoc analysis financial monthly/quarterly results, reconciliations, and reports to support business decision-making.
- Collaborate with Corporate Functions as a finance business partner, identifying areas for cost optimization and process improvement.
- Contribute to the development and enhancement of Business Intelligence tools and dashboards by financial expertise and testing functionalities.
Requirements
• Education: Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Mathematics, or Statistics.
• Languages: English: fluent both verbal and written.
• Experience: 1-3 years in Financial Planning & Analysis or Controlling within multinational and structured environments, preferably where Finance is closely integrated with business
Other Information & Specific Skills
- Understanding and knowledge of accounting principles
- Knowledge of the main MS Office tools (excellent Excel and PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with ERP and BI tools such as SAP and Power BI
