JOB PURPOSE:

The SSHE Coordinator will serve as the primary contact for all Security, Safety, Health, and Environment (SSHE) matters within the Go to Market segment of Spain, Italy, France, Iberia. This includes oversight of Distribution Centres, Refrigerated Vans, and office environments across these countries. The role involves leading and supporting the SSHE agenda, focusing on Zero Harm in Safety and zero Category 1 incidents in Environment, with a key focus on Road Safety.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

SSHE Point of Contact: Act as the main SSHE representative for Distribution Centres, Refrigerated Vans, and Offices in Eastern Europe.

SSHE Agenda: Drive the SSHE agenda, ensuring alignment with the company's goals of Zero Harm in Safety and zero Category 1 incidents in Environment.

Maintain the SHE system to ensure compliance with company, industry, and legislative requirements.

Develop, track, and assist in SHE improvement plans.

Manage daily SHE activities, including risk assessments, action management, and reporting.

Conduct SHE audits to ensure compliance and identify improvements.

Complete SHE reporting and analyze data to monitor SHE indicators.

Provide support, advice, and coaching to management on SHE practices.

Road Safety: Implement and monitor road safety initiatives for transportation safety.

Distribution Centre Safety: Ensure safety measures for the warehouse and personnel.

Office Safety: Implement safety guidelines in offices and assess safety of events.

Compliance: Ensure adherence to SSHE regulations, standards, and policies.

Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver SSHE training programs.

Incident Management: Lead investigations and report SSHE incidents.

Continuous Improvement: Implement initiatives to improve SSHE performance.

RSPP: Fulfill responsibilities under local legislation (D.Lgs 81/2008).

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in occupational health and safety, Environmental Science, or related field. Cert IV in OH&S or higher qualification.

Return to Work qualifications and experience.

Strong knowledge of legislation.

Excellent computer and literacy skills.

RSPP Certification:

Experience: Minimum of 10 years in SSHE roles, preferably in supply chain or logistics.

Skills: Knowledge of SSHE regulations, leadership skills, ability to work independently and in teams.

Certifications: Relevant SSHE certifications like NEBOSH, IOSH; RSPP is mandatory.
